In chatting with an old friend and talking about "back in the day", I realized it was just about 15 years ago that I got started in online advertising. My first "ad campaign" was for a few hundred bucks for adding some text links to a few simple sites I was running right around this time in '96. It's amazing how much has changed in regards to targeting, analytics, and testing, but also how there really are a lot of creative executions and concepts that have remained effective 10 or even 15 years later.
