I've realized after taking my new job down in FL that I've severely neglected my domain portfolio. I had my larger names scattered across a number of parking providers I was in the middle of testing and most of those test did not work out.....unfortunately I am only looking at the data months later (when I could have figured this out a day or two later had I been paying attention).
Anyways since I vowed to pay a little more attention to my portfolio moving forward, I figured why not chronicle what I am doing here. Unfortunately I didn't write down the first set of tweaks I made a few days ago, but I'll try to keep a log of changes here from now on.
1) Reviewed freeessays.com at dotzup, earning $180 RPM. Haven't been able to best that elsewhere so I am leaving it there. RPMs used to be much better on dotzup with this domain, $220-320 or so, but not any more and I can't find a parking company that does better.
2) Reviewed funnypictures at sedo. Earning $45 RPM or so. Used to do closer to $60/CPM but I am not sure how to get it back there. Plan on exploring more options another say. Oh yeah and I set the layout to "auto-optimize" a few days ago maybe that will help.
3) Checked kidschat.com which is at parked.com at $82 RPM. Not bad. Leaving it for now.
4) Found out I had left racistjokes.com, nrr.com and wwewrestling.com at 19parking a _long_ time ago, they were earning less then $5 RPM. Not sure where to point these but I am switching to Sedo for now.
5) Had some domains on evolanding for a while, I think I moved most or all of them off but not 100% sure. Went to log in there and their interface is temporarily down for maintenance so I will have to wait on checking there.
6) Need a better way to check all of my domains. Anyone know if you can bulk export all of your domains and the DNS associated with them in the godaddy system? I have don't have an easy way to see where the DNS is pointing for all of the domains.
7) Ran a report on parked.com which a lot of people have success with (but not me) to see my previous performance. Ran a year-to-date report by domain. This showed I had tested freeessays and kidschat there before, but RPMs were far lower then what I am earning at present per the above. Not sure if I should test other domains there or just write them off.
8) Ran across cancertreatmencenters.com and realized its still parked at evo. I'll check stats when they are back up and running. AH....I have congos.com and congas.com there too, need to check on that too.
Welp that's it for tonight, 20 or 30 minutes is all I have and I will look in on things again in another few days. I'll keep ya posted, whoever ya are.
